  • You are between 10 and 21 years old
  • You are scheduled to have back fusion surgery (posterior spinal fusion)
  • Your surgery will use brain and nerve monitoring
  • Your surgeon will place a small tube in an artery (arterial line) to track blood pressure and oxygen
