Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years
- Diagnosed with scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, Sjögren's syndrome, inflammatory muscle disease, or undifferentiated connective tissue disease
- Specific blood markers (autoantibodies) that indicate higher lung fibrosis risk
- CT scan showing lung changes in the past 6 weeks, or a clear scan if you don't have lung involvement yet
- Not on high-dose steroids (more than 10 mg prednisone daily) and stable on other immune medications for 3 months, or not yet on any immune medications
- No rituximab treatment in the past 24 weeks and adequate veins for blood draws
