Testing a new psoriasis skin cream in adults

This study tests whether a new ointment called RSS0393 can safely and effectively treat plaque psoriasis (a common skin condition causing red, scaly patches). You would apply it to affected skin areas and be compared to people using a placebo (inactive cream) to see if the treatment works.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis for at least 6 months
  • Your psoriasis covers between 2% and 20% of your body (roughly the size of your hand to a larger area)
  • You have not used psoriasis treatments (topical creams within 2 weeks, pills or light therapy within 4 weeks, or biologic injections within a longer period) before starting the study
  • Your blood tests and heart rhythm are normal, and you do not have hepatitis B, HIV, syphilis, or hepatitis C
  • You are not pregnant, breastfeeding, or planning to become pregnant during the study
