Pain or Function-Based Treatment for Chronic Muscle and Joint Pain

This study compares two different approaches to treating long-term muscle and joint pain that haven't improved with previous treatments. You'll receive 3 months of care at a pain clinic to see which method works better for you.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You have chronic musculoskeletal pain (long-term muscle or joint pain)
  • Previous pain treatments have not worked well for you
  • You were referred to the Pain Clinic through the municipal healthcare system
  • You are able to commit to 3 months of treatment at the Pain Clinic
