Re-radiation and Chidamide for Recurrent Head and Neck Cancer

Who can take part

  • Age 18–75 years old with at least 3 months expected survival
  • Diagnosed head and neck squamous cell carcinoma that came back in the same area after prior radiation (at least 6 months after radiation ended)
  • Cancer cannot be surgically removed, or you chose not to have surgery, or you are medically unable to have surgery
  • Good overall health and ability to care for yourself (ECOG score 0–1)
  • Normal blood counts, liver, kidney, and heart function on recent lab tests
  • No cancer spread to distant organs, no prior HDAC inhibitor treatment, and no severe heart problems
