  • Scheduled for elective (planned) laparoscopic abdominal cancer surgery
  • Age 20–80 years
  • Good overall health with no serious heart or lung disease history
  • BMI (body weight measure) of 30 or less
  • No neurologic or neuromuscular diseases (like nerve or muscle disorders)
