Who can take part
- You are between 18 and 75 years old.
- You have a type of liver cancer called hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) that can be removed with surgery.
- Your liver cancer is at a certain stage (CNLC Ib to IIIa, but not involving the main portal vein branches).
- You have not had previous drug treatment for liver cancer (like chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy).
- Your liver is working well (Child-Pugh class A) and you are in good general health (ECOG score 0 or 1).
- You do not have other active cancers, serious lung or heart disease, uncontrolled high blood pressure, or active infections.
