Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You have been diagnosed with liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) that cannot be surgically removed.
  • Your liver function is good enough (Child-Pugh class A or B, score 7 or less).
  • You have at least one measurable tumor.
  • You test positive for hepatitis B surface antigen (meaning you have hepatitis B).
  • You are physically able to care for yourself (ECOG score 0-2) and expected to live at least 3 more months.
