Who can take part
- You have esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (a specific type of esophageal cancer) that cannot be surgically removed or has spread
- You are 18–75 years old and in good enough health to tolerate treatment (ECOG 0–1 status)
- Your heart function is normal with ejection fraction ≥50%
- You have not received prior immunotherapy drugs targeting PD-1, PD-L1, or PD-L2
- You can provide a tumor tissue sample from the past 3 years and have at least one measurable tumor on imaging
- You are willing to use contraception for 7 months after treatment ends
