Who can take part
- Age 18 or older and able to understand and consent to the study
- Confirmed bladder cancer (urothelial type) that is not suitable for surgery or radiation, or has returned after radiation
- Overall health status allows you to tolerate general anesthesia and has life expectancy of at least 3 months
- Blood tests show normal calcium levels and adequate blood clotting ability (platelets ≥50 billion/L, INR ≤1.5)
- Not pregnant, not breastfeeding, and willing to use contraception if sexually active and of childbearing age
- Not allergic to calcium gluconate and able to stop blood-thinning medications before treatment per medical guidelines
