Who can take part

  • Diagnosed with idiopathic intracranial hypertension (high pressure of fluid around the brain with no known cause)
  • Spinal fluid pressure measured by lumbar puncture above 25 cm H₂O
  • Narrowed vein in the brain confirmed by MRI or CT scan
  • Symptoms like headaches, vision loss, swelling of the optic nerve, or pulsating ear ringing
  • Pressure difference across the narrowed vein measured during a procedure
  • If you have ear ringing, a special CT scan of the ear bone
