Who can take part

  • You are between 18 and 80 years old
  • You have had chronic (long-lasting) inflammation of your nose and throat for at least 3 months
  • Your throat and nasal discomfort is moderate to severe (at least 4 out of 10 on a pain scale)
  • You have not had a recent cold or upper respiratory infection in the last 2 weeks
  • You are willing to stop using nasal sprays, antihistamines, or decongestants for 2 weeks before starting the trial
  • You have not had nasal or sinus surgery in the past 6 months
