Who can take part

  • You are between 12 and 17 years old
  • Your weight is at or above the 85th percentile for your age and sex (your doctor can tell you if this applies)
  • You have moderate to elevated depression symptoms (screening score of 21 or higher)
  • You do not have type 2 diabetes or very high fasting blood sugar
  • You have not had weight-loss surgery, taken weight-loss medications, or lost more than 3% of your body weight in the past 3 months
  • You are not currently having thoughts of suicide or harming yourself
