Who can take part

  • You are a professional ice hockey player competing in a top Swedish league (SHL, HockeyAllsvenskan, SDHL, or equivalent)
  • You are available to have your hand grip strength tested at multiple timepoints throughout the entire season
  • You do not have an acute hand or wrist injury at the start of the study that would prevent you from squeezing as hard as possible
  • You are able to perform maximum-effort hand grip strength tests without pain or limitations
  • You commit to completing all scheduled grip strength measurements and cannot miss any testing sessions
