Who can take part

  • Confirmed amyloid protein buildup in your brain (shown by brain scan, spinal fluid test, or blood test)
  • Age 18 or older with no more than mild cognitive symptoms (memory or thinking problems)
  • Able to sit still for six one-hour ultrasound sessions and complete imaging, blood work, and memory tests
  • No moderate or severe dementia, brain tumors, brain bleeding, or prior brain surgery with metal implants
  • No thick hair coverings (like dreadlocks or turbans), MRI-incompatible devices, or ultrasound gel allergies
  • Generally healthy heart, kidneys, liver, and blood counts; stable mood and blood sugar control
