  • Generally good health (ASA score I–III, meaning you can safely have surgery)
  • Body mass index under 35 kg/m²
  • Scheduled for planned video-assisted chest surgery (VATS)
  • Able to receive numbing nerve blocks and provide written consent
  • No history of chronic opioid use, severe liver or kidney disease, or neurological conditions
