Comparing nerve block methods for pain after lung surgery

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older.
  • You are scheduled for a VATS lung resection (a minimally invasive lung surgery).
  • Your overall health is good or fair (ASA score 1 to 3).
  • You do not have bleeding problems or take blood thinners (except aspirin) that cannot be stopped safely.
  • You are not pregnant.
  • You can understand pain assessment instructions and do not have a known allergy to numbing medicines.
