Who can take part
- You are at least 18 years old and can understand and sign an informed consent form
- You have been diagnosed with bladder cancer that appears to be T1 G3 (a specific stage and grade) confirmed by cystoscopy (a camera test of the bladder)
- You are scheduled to undergo TUR-B (transurethral resection of the bladder tumor—a surgical procedure to remove the tumor)
- You do not have cancer that has spread to distant parts of your body (metastases) or tumors in the upper urinary tract (ureters or kidneys) at the time of diagnosis
- You are able to follow study procedures and attend follow-up visits without major language or cognitive barriers
