Who can take part
- Female, aged 20–70 years
- Have breast cancer (Stage I–III) that can be surgically removed
- Have high blood pressure or angina (chest pain) and currently take medication for it
- Good overall health and ability to tolerate treatment (ECOG score 0–1)
- Normal or near-normal blood counts, liver, and kidney function
- Have not taken beta-blocker medications in the past 30 days
