Who can take part

  • Female, aged 20–70 years
  • Have breast cancer (Stage I–III) that can be surgically removed
  • Have high blood pressure or angina (chest pain) and currently take medication for it
  • Good overall health and ability to tolerate treatment (ECOG score 0–1)
  • Normal or near-normal blood counts, liver, and kidney function
  • Have not taken beta-blocker medications in the past 30 days
