Ultrasound imaging for finding metal clips after brain aneurysm surgery

Who can take part

  • Age 18–85 years old
  • Had brain surgery within the last 3 hours (either with metal clip placement for aneurysm or other craniotomy without clip)
  • Able to have a transcranial ultrasound exam (ultrasound through the skull) within 3 hours after surgery
  • Had a CT scan after surgery
  • Willing to give written consent (you or your legal representative)
