- Age 18 or older

- Thyroid nodule with specific cell changes (Bethesda V or VI) or Bethesda III/IV with certain genetic mutations on prior testing
- Thyroid tumor between 1–4 cm in size
- No lymph node involvement detected on ultrasound
- No cancer spread beyond the thyroid on ultrasound
