- Your child is under 16 years old
- Your child was diagnosed with a severe seizure disorder before age 2 that affects brain development
- Your child's seizure disorder was caused by a genetic, metabolic, structural, or infectious condition
- You speak English well enough to understand study information and answer questions
- Child Protective Services is not currently involved in your child's care
