Who can take part

  • You are being cared for in the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia pediatric ICU
  • Your care team recommends continuous EEG monitoring (a test that tracks brain waves continuously)
  • Your age is more than 1 month and under 18 years
  • You are not in the hospital specifically just for Phase 2 (intracranial) EEG monitoring
  • Your ICU doctor does not expect the EEG/technology support to be stopped within the next 2 days
