Brain Stimulation Study on Motor Control and Learning

Who can take part

  • Be between 18 and 45 years old
  • No neurological conditions or nerve damage affecting your arms (such as epilepsy, chronic pain, or nerve injury)
  • No significant vision problems that would prevent you from playing a video game
  • Answer 'no' to most questions on a brain stimulation safety questionnaire
  • Avoid all stimulants (caffeine, nicotine, energy drinks, prescription stimulant medications) for at least 12 hours before your study visit
  • Not have played a real stringed instrument (guitar, violin, bass) or Guitar Hero on a guitar controller in the past 12 months
