Who can take part
- You had a ruptured brain aneurysm confirmed by CT scan or angiography
- You are at least 18 years old
- You can stand for 30 seconds or longer
- Your condition is stable enough for rehabilitation (WFNS score 1-5)
- You have completed at least 12 years of school education
- You score below 26 on a thinking/memory test (showing some cognitive changes)

This study looks at how surgery for a ruptured brain aneurysm (a bulging blood vessel that has burst) affects thinking and memory. By participating, you may help doctors better understand which patients are at risk for cognitive problems after surgery, and why some recover better than others. If you join, you will have an MRI scan and complete some tests of your thinking and memory — this may happen during your regular follow-up visits.
