Who can take part

  • Child is between 10 and 14 years old
  • Child can read and write well enough to understand study materials
  • Both child and parent/guardian must agree to participate in writing
  • For gaming group: child meets clinical criteria for internet gaming disorder (confirmed by assessment)
  • No severe intellectual disability, autism, schizophrenia, or bipolar disorder diagnosis
  • No serious neurological conditions that would prevent understanding instructions
