Who can take part
- You are 18 years old or older
- You have a BMI of 30 or higher, OR a BMI of 27–30 with at least one weight-related health condition (high blood pressure, high cholesterol, sleep apnea, heart disease, or type 2 diabetes)
- Your weight has not changed by more than 5% in the past 3 months
- You do not have type 1 diabetes or other forms of diabetes besides type 2
- You do not have a history of pancreatitis (pancreas inflammation)
- You do not have a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2 (MEN-2)
