Who can take part
- You are 18 years or older.
- Your body mass index (BMI) is 28 or higher, or between 24 and 28 with a weight-related health problem like high blood pressure or diabetes.
- If you have type 2 diabetes, your blood sugar (HbA1c) must be between 6.5% and 10.0%.
- You have tried to lose weight with diet before but it didn't work.
- You have not had significant weight changes (more than 5% in the last 3 months).
- You do not have type 1 diabetes, a history of pancreatitis, or a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or a rare condition called MEN2.
