Who can take part

  • You have colorectal cancer (adenocarcinoma) confirmed by biopsy that is advanced but can be surgically removed
  • Your tumor is microsatellite stable (MSS) or mismatch repair proficient (pMMR)—a genetic test result your doctor can check
  • You have not received any prior cancer treatment (chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, or surgery for cancer)
  • You are at least 18 years old and healthy enough to tolerate treatment (ECOG performance status ≤ 2)
  • Your blood counts and liver/kidney function are adequate for the study drugs
  • If you can have children, you agree to use effective birth control during and for several months after treatment
