- You must be 18 years or older
- You have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease (confirmed by imaging or stress testing)
- Your last heart attack or severe event was more than 1 year ago
- You do not have unstable angina or severe heart failure symptoms
- Your kidney function is reasonably good (creatinine clearance ≥ 30 ml/min/1.73 m²)
- You do not have an autoimmune disease (such as lupus or rheumatoid arthritis)
