Miswak Stick Effects on Gum Disease Inflammation

Who can take part

  • You have moderate gum disease (Stage II or III, Grade B periodontitis)
  • You can use your hands and fingers to clean your teeth properly
  • You don't smoke and haven't smoked recently
  • You're not pregnant and have no systemic health conditions that slow healing
  • You haven't had gum surgery or used chemical mouth rinses in the past 6 months
  • You've never regularly used miswak sticks before
