Who can take part

  • You have type 1 or type 2 diabetes diagnosed at least 6 months ago
  • You take insulin by injection (at least one basal insulin shot daily) and have been on a stable insulin routine for at least 3 months
  • Your blood sugar level (HbA1c) is between 7.5% and 12% at screening
  • You are between 18 and 80 years old and weigh between 80 and 440 pounds
  • You have a smartphone (iPhone with iOS 17+ or Android 10+) and agree to use a continuous glucose monitor (FSL 3 System) and study app daily
  • You have not had an insulin pump, severe low blood sugar events, or diabetic emergencies in the past 3–6 months
