Who can take part
- You are pregnant with one baby (not twins or multiples)
- You are between 18 and 45 years old
- You have type 2 diabetes diagnosed before pregnancy, or your blood sugar test (HbA1c) shows diabetes in your first trimester
- Your blood sugar control level (HbA1c) is between 5.0–10% at the start
- You are less than 16 weeks pregnant when you join
- Your baby's heartbeat and development look normal on ultrasound
- You are willing to receive diabetes care at the clinic throughout your pregnancy until delivery
