Robotic Dog to Help Children Feel Better During Bone Marrow Transplant

Who can take part

  • You are between 8 and 15 years old
  • You have been diagnosed with blood cancer and are undergoing a bone marrow (stem cell) transplant
  • You are hospitalized in an isolation room and expected to stay for about 30 days after your transplant
  • You can understand and answer questions in Turkish
  • Your medical team says you are stable enough to participate
  • You are able to interact with a robotic dog without severe fear or refusal
