Who can take part

  • Female, aged 18 to 75 years
  • Pathologically confirmed metastatic (spread beyond breast) or locally advanced unresectable breast cancer
  • Cancer is hormone-receptor-positive and HER2-positive
  • No cancer progression after 4–8 cycles of first-line chemotherapy or targeted therapy (stable disease, partial response, or complete response)
  • ECOG performance status 0–1 (able to carry out daily activities with minimal assistance)
  • No symptomatic brain metastases or extensive leptomeningeal disease (cancer in brain fluid)
