Brain Stimulation for Depression Treatment Planning

Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with major depression with a current depressive episode
  • Your depression severity score is moderate to severe (HDRS-17 score of 16 or higher)
  • You are taking antidepressant medication on a stable dose for at least 6 weeks, or doing therapy consistently for at least 6 weeks
  • You can safely use a home tDCS device on your own or with a caregiver's help
  • You have a camera-equipped device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) to check in with the research team
  • You can commit to all study visits and follow-up appointments
