Who can take part
- Age 18–75 years
- Confirmed carpal tunnel syndrome diagnosed by nerve testing (ENMG or ENEG) within the past year
- Symptoms for at least 3 months that haven't improved with conservative treatments like wrist splints
- Willing and able to have carpal tunnel release surgery
- Living independently and able to complete symptom questionnaires on a device (phone, tablet, or computer)
- No significant hand trauma, previous carpal tunnel surgery, or other conditions affecting hand function
