Who can take part
- You are 18 or older.
- You have carpal tunnel syndrome in your right hand (or both hands, but only the right hand will be treated).
- You have not had carpal tunnel surgery or a cortisone shot in your right hand in the past 3 months.
- You do not have other health problems like arthritis, diabetes, thyroid disease, or neck issues that could affect your hand.
- You have not taken any pain medication (including over-the-counter) in the last 2 weeks.
- You are not pregnant, and you agree not to use other treatments for carpal tunnel during the study.
