- You have been diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma (confirmed by biopsy) that is stage II or IIIB
- Your tumor is in an arm, leg, shoulder, or hip area (not hand, foot, trunk, head, neck, or belly)
- You have had recent imaging (MRI within 90 days) that shows your full tumor
- Chest imaging within the last 28 days shows no cancer spread to the lungs
- A surgeon has confirmed you are a good candidate for surgery to remove the tumor
- You have not received prior chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery for this tumor
