Better diagnostic testing for interstitial lung disease

Interstitial Lung Disease (ILD)

Part of Lungs & breathing clinical trials.

This research study tests new diagnostic methods to better identify and predict outcomes in interstitial lung disease (a group of lung conditions causing scarring and breathing problems). Researchers are looking for people with ILD or those exposed to pigeons, which can trigger a type of lung disease.

Streamlining the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease

This study is testing a new way to speed up the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease (a group of lung scarring conditions). If you have symptoms or scan findings that suggest ILD but haven't been fully diagnosed yet, this trial may help you get a faster, clearer answer.

Early detection and treatment study for lung scarring disease

This study looks at how to find and treat fibrotic interstitial lung disease (a condition where lung tissue becomes scarred and stiff) as early as possible. It may help people with this type of lung disease get better care.

Optimizing follow-up for interstitial lung disease

This trial tests a new way to organize follow-up visits for people with interstitial lung disease (a group of lung conditions). It aims to make care simpler and more effective for patients who are already on treatment.

Safety of ultrasound-guided lung biopsy for ILD patients

This trial checks how safe a lung biopsy (a small sample taken with a needle) is for people with interstitial lung disease, a condition that causes scarring in the lungs. The goal is to see if the biopsy can be done with fewer risks when guided by ultrasound.
