Who can take part

  • Had a stroke at least several months ago with lasting weakness in one leg
  • Walk with an unusual gait pattern (limping or uneven steps) due to stroke
  • Medically stable enough to participate in regular walking exercise sessions
  • Able to understand instructions and report any discomfort during the study
  • No severe skin breakdown or open wounds where the robotic device would attach to your leg
  • No other brain or nerve conditions (besides stroke) that affect walking
