  • You are between 18 and 60 years old
  • Your height is between 5'3" and 6'0" (160–182 cm)
  • Your BMI (body weight relative to height) is between 15 and 29.9
  • You are in good overall health with no serious heart, kidney, liver, or stroke history
  • You have no allergy to numbing medications (local anesthetics)
  • Your spine is straight with no conditions that would prevent spinal anesthesia
