Home Exercise Program for Heart Health During Leukemia Transplant

Who can take part

  • You have a new diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia being treated at Fred Hutch
  • You are age 18 or older and meet one or more 'high-risk' criteria (age 65+, or a high comorbidity score based on your overall health)
  • You can safely walk and exercise at low to moderate intensity, as checked by the study team
  • You own a smartphone and can read and write in English
  • You do not have severe heart failure, severe anemia, aortic stenosis, or major orthopedic or nerve problems that prevent walking
  • You are willing and able to understand and sign a consent form
