Heart health monitoring for newly diagnosed AML patients

Newly Diagnosed Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML)

Part of Cancer, Heart & circulation clinical trials.

This study helps people with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) by closely monitoring their heart health during chemotherapy. It aims to detect any early heart problems caused by treatment so they can be managed sooner.

Beta blocker and lisinopril to protect the heart in AML

This Phase 2 study tests whether a blood-pressure medicine plan (a beta blocker plus lisinopril) can protect the heart in people newly diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are starting anthracycline chemotherapy. It looks at heart safety by requiring a good heart scan before treatment and careful medication eligibility.

Testing Venetoclax with chemo for newly diagnosed AML

This trial studies whether adding venetoclax to standard induction chemotherapy (homoharringtonine plus cytarabine) can improve outcomes for people with newly diagnosed AML. It mainly looks at people who can safely receive intensive chemotherapy but have certain heart, kidney, or lung limits.

Comparing treatment intensities for less fit adults with AML

This study compares different treatment intensities for adults with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who are less able to handle strong chemotherapy. It aims to find the best approach for people with health issues like heart or lung problems that make standard chemo riskier.
