Who can take part

  • You are 18 years old or older
  • You are currently hospitalized in a pulmonology (lung) unit
  • You have a condition that causes excessive airway secretions, such as COPD, bronchiectasis, cystic fibrosis, or primary ciliary dyskinesia
  • You are not currently on a breathing machine (invasive or non-invasive ventilation)
  • You are not receiving more than 15 liters per minute of supplemental oxygen
  • You are not taking mucoactive drugs (medications that thin mucus) and do not have an artificial airway
