Nerve Freezing for Combat Amputation Pain

Who can take part

  • You lost a limb due to combat-related injury
  • You have had chronic nerve pain (neuroma pain) for at least 3 months
  • Your pain is at least 4 out of 10 in intensity
  • Your painful nerve has been confirmed by ultrasound
  • You have been on a stable pain medication routine for at least 2 weeks
  • You have not had prior freezing treatment or nerve surgery on this site within the last 3 months
