Who can take part
- Be 18 years or older
- Have a confirmed diagnosis of Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis (the two main types of IBD)
- Already have a planned colonoscopy or sigmoidoscopy scheduled as part of your regular care
- Be willing and able to give informed consent to participate
- Not be pregnant
- Not have had your colon completely removed or have a colostomy or ileostomy bag
