Who can take part

  • You are a woman aged 35–65 years old
  • Your BMI (body mass index) is between 30–34 kg/m²
  • You have had at least 2 of these symptoms for the last 3 months: straining hard, hard lumpy stools, feeling like you haven't fully emptied, feeling blocked, needing to push with your fingers, or fewer than 3 bowel movements per week
  • Your symptoms started more than 6 months ago
  • You've tried dietary changes, lifestyle changes, and over-the-counter laxatives for at least 3 months without good results
  • You do not have a major structural problem in your rectum or anus, recent anal surgery, or certain medical conditions (like MS, diabetes, inflammatory bowel disease, or severe heart/lung disease)
