Who can take part

  • You are a woman with a mild rectal bulge (rectocele grade I–II)
  • You may also have internal rectal inward folding (internal rectal invagination) and constipation/“functional defecation” problems
  • Your bowel-nerve and muscle function must be confirmed by a specialized rectal test called high-resolution anorectal manometry
  • You must be willing and able to sign consent and follow all study instructions and visits
  • You should not have more severe rectal bulge (rectocele grade III)
