Electrical Stimulation for Breathing in Cerebral Palsy

Who can take part

  • Your child has been diagnosed with cerebral palsy and has limited ability to walk or move (GMFCS Level IV or V)
  • Your child is between 5 and 18 years old
  • Your child's medical condition is stable (not in crisis or acutely ill)
  • Your child does not have a tracheostomy (breathing tube in the neck)
  • Your child does not use a CPAP or BiPAP machine at home for breathing support
  • Your child does not require continuous oxygen therapy at home
